The Library of this college was established in 2012 soon after the college started its academic session. It was established to cater to the academic and research needs of a large number of college communities consisting of faculty members & students in various disciplines.

The Library is housed in a separate building. It has a large reading room and three other small compartments with centrally heated halls managed by a well-qualified professional librarian. The library also provides useful and research-oriented services to the reading community in a calm and clean atmosphere. In order to provide current awareness services local dailies, national dailies & other periodicals are also made available in the reading room.

At present, it has a collection of more than nine thousand books & two thousand e-books on different disciplines like English language & literature, Urdu language & literature, Kashmiri language & literature, Islamic studies, political science, history, education, sociology, psychology, economics, commerce, mathematics, environmental science, geography, physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, computer science, etc. Besides this, books on generalities for career counseling are also available in the library. Till date, we have completed about 85% of automation using SOUL software. Apart from this, we have RFID technology installed in the library and the tagging of books is in process.

The Library has installed LAN –local area network & internet. We are planning to establish a browsing & e-resource center in the library so that faculty members & students can browse, search and download information related to their interests.
